  Autumn Path

Life travels circle wise, and wisdom free
  bombarding sense with sensitivity.
Despite all efforts, vision's are half seen
reality a half world, in between..
 .
So harvest comes again to warn the cold
chasing summer with its windy hold
Paths we've walked but don't anticipate
seasons know their cycles, they will not wait.
 .
I'll hold last gasps of sweet October here -
holding the breath within my hurried heart.
I'll practice dancing with crisp golden leaves
pacing fall days as if I have no peace...
  .
One with autumn's sun and winter’s warning
  past Novembers chilly harvest mornings
Tears wept in wayward thought of springs gone by
Exhaling sighs to frosty nights: "goodbye"...
